Ed Walz leads the Protecting Immigrant Families Coalition’s communication efforts and coordinates the coalition’s Communications Working Group.
Ed’s work with PIF includes message and strategy development, creating materials for partners’ use with families and policymakers, opinion research, and digital and media outreach. Since its first national placement in April 2018, PIF has generated tens of millions of digital impressions and shaped thousands of news articles, including placements in every major national news outlet.
Ed spent 15 years working for senior Democratic members of the U.S. House of Representatives. He advanced legislation on a wide range of issues, from health care access and family tax credits to consumer and environmental protection.
