The Protecting Immigrant Families Coalition is powered by more than 800 member organizations in over 44 states. We unite leaders on immigrant rights, health, food security, affordable housing, economic opportunity, reproductive justice, and dozens of other issues to fight for a more prosperous, more inclusive, and better country.

Benefits of Coalition Membership

  • A national network with allies in your state PIF coalition members are part of a nationwide community of hundreds of organizations with shared priorities. Our member directory makes it easy to network with organizations in the same state and organizations working in similar fields.
  • Working groups PIF Coalition working groups provide a forum for members to collaborate based on areas of shared expertise or interest. Current groups include Communications, Community Education, Federal advocacy, Policy and Legal Analysis, Research and State Policy.

PIF Coalition members are united by 10 foundational principles. Read these brief but essential principles, discuss them with your colleagues, and confirm that your organization can agree to the principles.

Complete a membership application

Complete this short application with basic information about your organization and your interest in joining the PIF Coalition. Our staff will review your application and reach out with next steps within one week.

There are no fees or ongoing requirements to be an active member – though we encourage you to participate in one of our many working groups. If you're not ready to join but would like to stay in touch, sign up for our newsletter.
