Context
Food, housing, healthcare – these are basic human rights every family should have. Some kids and their families are not getting the support they need to thrive - and everyone needs a little help sometimes. Many mixed-status families are unaware that some of their family members may be eligible for supportive benefits programs such as Medicaid, SNAP, and subsidized housing. Misinformation and fear of immigration consequences keep more families away from the services that would help their families during hard times.
This toolkit provides educational materials to guide families to access the programs for which they might be eligible and can be adapted to your use - add a logo, navigation contact information, and/or personalize the information to best reach your community.
